Katie Webster began designing the KatieMosa - Tweed with a Twist™ collection in 2007. Initially, the project was more of a hobby, a way for Katie to take time out from her couture dressmaking business. It allowed Katie a crafty and creative release, using a much loved medium, tweed fabric. Sales soon increased and the range rapidly expanded into a delightful collection of  homewares and gifts.

KatieMosa has been expanding and evolving over the past few years. 'Despite my deep love for tweed, I have started developing my love for drawing and fabric design.'  The range now includes delightful fabrics featuring hand drawn images by Katie, inspired by the British countryside and it's wildlife. As well as being available to purchase by the meter, the fabrics have been made into a range of soft furnishings and kitchen textiles.

Working from her London studio in Barnes, Katie is still very much in control of all of her designs and with the help of a small team, and a UK based manufacturer, produces the range by hand here in the UK. 99% of the KatieMosa tweed and materials are sourced here in the UK, something which Katie feels passionately about.

'KatieMosa is essentially all about the best of British design, making and manufacturing. Good design and quality hand made products are what excites me most.'

Last year saw the introduction of the KatieMosa bespoke curtain and blind service, and hand made furniture such as ottomans and footstools, upholstered in KatieMosa's beautiful linen fabric.

Katie is currently working on expanding her fabric range as well as adding some quirky new products to the collection in 2012.
